The course for anyone who wants to understand how improv and comedy works in narrative longform on stage.
content
Building on the experiences of the first course, you will refine your acquired skills in creative, collaborative and spontaneous play. The focus is now increasingly on the content of the performance.
This course focuses on long-form narrative. What makes a good narrative story? Here, you will learn about the structure of long stories, character archetypes, plot devices and different genres. We will practise and strengthen these skills through narrative long and find lots of fun creating stories together. As always, we combine learning with fun in a safe atmosphere.
This course is new. You can only take part if you have already completed “English Basics: Scenes” or have equivalent experience (for example previous attendance to the “Weekly Improv Class – advanced”).
The course concludes with a public show on 23.11.2025
