English Advanced: Longform

The course for anyone who wants to understand how improv and comedy works in longform on stage.

Building on the experiences of the first course, you will refine your acquired skills in creative, collaborative and spontaneous playing. The focus is now increasingly on the content of the play. How do short scenes work? In this class you will learn what improv shortform games need to be crisp, dynamic and entertaining and how to maintain your player personality with all the new concepts.

We practice and strengthen these skills with games in shortform such as Theatersport, Maestro (these formats are not necessarily played, but are only examples), which are therefore the focus. As always, we combine all this with lots of fun in a safe atmosphere.

This course is new. You can only take part if you have already completed “English Basics: Scenes” or have equivalent experience (for example previous attendance to the „Weekly Improv Class – advanced“ or “Longform”).

The course concludes with a public show on 26.04.2026.
