You already love to play improv? Then this is the right course for you – an improv class in English for 12 weeks on Wednesday evenings!

Our goals: to experience the joy of playing; to let our imagination run wild; to invent stories together; and to take our first steps on to the stage.

Content

We’ll cover some of the basics of improvised theater: attention, acceptance, saying yes, and the ping-pong principle. We’ll also play theater games and scenes to highlight some of the key aspects of improv, such as: characters, emotions, status, story, and speech. Last but not least, we will get to know some great games – a lot of fun is guaranteed!.

On Sunday, 12.12. you will play a public show .

Notice: There will be no class on October 13th, because our international festival SPUNK takes place in this week. Come and visit our festival instead. There are a lot of shows in english.

Terms and Conditions

  • The number of participants is limited. Admission after receipt of this registration and fulfillment of the admission requirements according to the course description.
  • After confirmed registration, the full course fee will be owed. Withdrawals for personal, professional, health, etc. reasons are possible under the following conditions:
    • Up to 14 days prior to the start of the course, the participant may exchange his/her booked course for another similar course, advertised at anundpfirsich. A processing fee of 50 Fr. will be charged.
    • In case of withdrawal up to 14 days before the start of the course, we charge 40% of the course fee.
    • In case of withdrawal less than 14 days before the start of the course, we will charge the full course fee.
    • Not attended parts of the course cannot be made up for and will not be refunded.
  • If the course does not take place, we will inform you by e-mail at least 2 days before the start of the course. For online courses, we will inform you at least 12 hours in advance. Already paid participation fees will be fully refunded.
  • Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. (e.g. cancellation costs insurance, accident, liability, theft of valuables etc.).
  • Corona rule: If the course cannot take place live due to a federal or cantonal Covid regulation, it can be continued online (probably via ZOOM). In this case no course fees will be refunded.
