You already love to play improv? Then this is the right course for you – an improv class in English for 10 weeks on Wednesday evenings!

Our goals: to experience the joy of playing; to let our imagination run wild; to invent stories together; and to take our first steps on to the stage.

Content

Besides covering some of the basics of improvised theater: attention, acceptance, saying yes, and the ping-pong principle we will focus on one the most iconic IMPROV forms of all time: THE HAROLD (wikipedia article!). The improv show from Chicago which influences improvisers around the world and became a magical being in the world of comedy. And of course: a lot of fun is guaranteed!

On Sunday, 27.06. you will play a public show .

Notice: There will be no class on May 5th.

Covid19 note: We want you to have the best improv experience possible and at the same time be as safe as possible. Therefore, we have a mask requirement in our courses. If the course cannot take place live due to a federal or cantonal Covid ordinance, it will take place online (probably via ZOOM). We adhere to all guidelines that are decided by the Federal Council and the BAG and will inform you as soon as possible if something should change in the implementation of the course. Terms and Conditions

  • The number of participants is limited. Admission after receipt of this registration and fulfillment of the admission requirements according to the course description.
  • After confirmed registration, the full course fee will be owed. Withdrawals for personal, professional, health, etc. reasons are possible under the following conditions:
    • Up to 14 days prior to the start of the course, the participant may exchange his/her booked course for another similar course, advertised at anundpfirsich. A processing fee of 50 Fr. will be charged.
    • In case of withdrawal up to 14 days before the start of the course, we charge 40% of the course fee.
    • In case of withdrawal less than 14 days before the start of the course, we will charge the full course fee.
    • Not attended parts of the course cannot be made up for and will not be refunded.
  • If the course does not take place, we will inform you by e-mail at least 2 days before the start of the course. For online courses, we will inform you at least 12 hours in advance. Already paid participation fees will be fully refunded.
  • Insurance is the responsibility of the participants. (e.g. cancellation costs insurance, accident, liability, theft of valuables etc.).
  • Corona rule: If the course cannot take place live due to a federal or cantonal Covid regulation, it can be continued online (probably via ZOOM). In this case no course fees will be refunded.
